Basic Life Support (BLS) is a foundational course for healthcare professionals and trained first responders. This course covers theoretical and hands-on skills needed to respond to medical emergencies and deliver the best possible patient outcomes. Real-world scenarios and team dynamic skills are emphasized.
This course includes instruction on:
Recognizing a cardiac arrest
How to respond quickly and confidently to a medical emergency
Performing high-quality single-rescuer CPR and multi-rescuer team CPR
A one year certificate will be issued upon successful completion
This course is the prerequisite for the ACLS course
