This is a comprehensive two-day course offering first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) skills for those who need training due to work requirements or who want more knowledge to respond to emergencies at home. Includes the latest first aid and CPR guidelines.
This course is recognized by Worksafe BC
A three year certificate will be issued upon successful completion.
Who is this course for?
Standard First Aid is recommended for those entering the Health Care field. This includes:
Nursing
Residential Health Care Assistant
Dental Hygienist or Assistant
Community Support Worker
Early Childhood Educator
This course is suitable for those who need more advance first aid skills to apply in an outdoor or athletic setting. This would include activities that take place in remote areas.
Because of the comprehensive nature of this course it is also recommended for those administering at home care for a family member.
